In this most recent episode, there will be two players, who happen to be a mother and daughter duo. When I read the promo, I'm thinking will the rules be the same regarding multiple players on the U.S. version?
Anyway, this is the last aired DEAL US episode of 2018, and this could be a way to end 2018 with a 'bang.' So let's go!
The models are in yellow, sleeveless for this episode.
Howie: Hello ladies.
Models: Hello Howie! (It's Hi Howie! you imbeciles!)
(Most of them need to re-watch the original primetime version to see how it works.)
Jade Thomas comes up on stage. A wife and mother, and a former Marine, who is currently a fifth-grade teacher. If she wins the big one, she wants to help her family a lot, like most people.
For her case, she chooses #9. It's been a while since Patricia was chosen, you have to go back to season three. Jade was born in September, and hence is part of a nine-member family.
6 to open:
13: $200,000
18: $300,000
"Jade, what are you doing?" She says to herself.
21: $500
24: $10
5: $25
16: $25,000
Half and half on both sides were eliminated. Here comes the Bankress. Her first offer is $15,000. Reasonable. NO DEAL.
Howie is summoning Jade's mom Cheryl Miles on stage to play. Remember how it worked, when one contestant plays, and then they take turns? After the media time out, Cheryl now makes the selections.
5 to open:
6: $1,000
15: $5
10: $100
11: $10,000
14: $300
More left side action. Expect a higher offer from the Bankress. $46,000. In Cheryl and Jade's corner, is Jade's oldest sister, Cheryl's second oldest and only son, and twin of Jade who also served in the military. NO DEAL. Jade now takes over.
4 to open:
20: A message from A. Smith, then $400
3: $750
22: $50
1 to open...after media time-out:
23: $5,000
Not bad stuff here. Penny and dollar still in play, as are the four big ones. Bankress calls. New offer is $111,000. Bar code thousand dollars! Eleven cases left in play. Jade's verdict: NO DEAL. Cheryl takes over.
3 to open:
12: $400,000
4: $750,000
25: (after media timeout) BANOODLES!!!
Eight cases in play: 1, 2, 7, 8, 17, 19, 26, and Jade and Cheryl's case.
Bankress calls, and before the offer, pitched out an offer Cheryl can't refuse: a drum set from Guitar Center. Cheryl tests out the drums and plays the s*** out of it! Bankress gives a thumbs up! Amazing! The follow-up is a $87,000 offer, down from the previous offer. The million is still in play. Cheryl says NO DEAL! Jade takes over.
2 to open:
8: $500,000
2: $100,000
Expect a lower offer from the Bankress. Six cases in play: Cheryl and Jade's #9, plus 1, 7, 17, 19, and 26. New offer (after the media timeout): $119,000! NO DEAL says Jade.
Cheryl takes over.
1 to open:
17: $1!!!
Expect a higher offer now. Five cases in play: Cheryl and Jade's #9, plus 1, 7, 19 and 26. Bankress calls with a new offer, their highest yet: $164,000! They want to counter-offer, and they will for $210,000. Bankress says: NO DEAL. Jade takes over.
1 to open:
19: "...don't let fear conquer your life." $75,000 That's okay.
After the media timeout, a big offer is coming. 1, 7, 26 and Cheryl and Jade's #9 are still in play. $233,000 is that amount offered. Howie: "I feel like I shouldn't be here." As they were sitting down and getting up, Jade now makes the verdict, and cashes out with $236,174, including the drum set. Where was the million? Was it in 7? Nope. $50,000. Next offer would have been $315,000. Was it in #26? It was the million. In their case? $200. In #1, it was $75. A great deal and got home in time. An interesting ending to 2018 in DEAL or NO DEAL United States.
